Welcome to Guest Designer Kerstin Franze!

Hello crafty folks!

Hope you're all doing well.
I've had a wonderful weekend on a German stamping fair called Stempel-Mekka and met lots and lots of crafty friends. Maybe you've been there, too and we haven't met? ;)
We're planning to have an own booth in the future - yay!

So, let's dive into this post!
I am super excited to tell you that we finally have a new Guest designer. I bet many of you know her and we are beyond happy that she said "yes" to our invitation.

Please say welcome to
If you don't know her you have to check out

I've been following Kerstin's work for quite a while now - she makes clean and simple cards that are extremely well balanced and creative!
Throughout the month os September Kerstin will share some amazing creations with you.
Today we'll start with a super soft and pretty "thinking of you" card!

I wanted to make a card that looks as soft as a feather.

• Cut out a piece of watercolor cardstock with the largest die of the Double Stitched Rectangles
• Sponge on some distress oxide ink, sprinkle some water on and leave it to dry
• Stamp the feathers on some vellum paper with versamark ink, heat emboss with white embossing powder and cut them out
• Adhere the feathers to the panel and each other with mini glue dots
• Heat emboss the sentiment with white embossing powder on craft cardstock, cut it out and adhere it with foam adhesive to the background

For a little more interest you can add some details to the feathers by using a white polychromo and a white gel pen.

I think Kerstin's card is simply wonderful and such a nice way to let someone know you're thinking of them!

Have a wonderful day everyone!
