Hello and a hug

Hello crafty friends, it's Kerstin here!

Today I have a cute fall card for you featuring one of my favorite stamp sets.

We had a long and warm summer and I really enjoyed it. But now it's time for the another wonderful season: fall! A good reason to start creating fall cards.

  • stamp and color your favorite critter and fuzzy cut, if you love to
  • create a background in a loose watercolor style and if you're like me add some sprinkles
  • die cut some leaves from the cool cuts pocket tag set and color them as well
  • glue the leaves on the ground and in the air (like falling leaves)
  • add a sentiment and be careful not to ruin it

If you messed up part of the sentiment (like I did) you can stamp or heat emboss on some vellum, cut it out and glue it over the ruined sentiment.

Feel Better!

Hey everyone and welcome back to our creative space! Raluca here with a brand new card showcasing the adorable "Doctor's Helpers" stamp set, along with the All about you set from Create a Smile Stamps store.

I love using the bigger words from the sentiment sets and I wanted to create a cute one using again the YOU word.

* I die cut a white panel using the largest stitched rectangle from the Cool Cuts Double Stitched Rectangles.
* I ink blended a corner on the panel with a light blue ink and stamped some of the smaller stamps from the Doctor's Helpers set using the same ink pad.
* Next I stamped the You word from the All about you set and the cute mouse from the Doctor's Helpers set, I colored them with Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut them with a sharp pair of scissors.

* I glued the You word and mounted the mouse on the panel.
* On a black strip of cardstock I white embossed the second part of the sentiment from the Bad Day set and mounted it on the card.
* I glued a few clear sequins and my card was done.

Clear All about you

Thinking of You

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to our crafty space.
Raluca here with a new card showcasing the "Cart full of treasures" stamp set from Create a Smile Stamps.

I'm in love with these cute koalas so I enjoy coloring them and playing with them. You can create so many scenes and you can color them in so many different color combos.

First I stamped the images and colored them using Nuvo markers and then I fussy cut them. Next, I stamped the sentiment on a white panel and then I die cut a square. I ink blended some Peacock Feathers Distress Ink on it and glue it to the panel and added a die cut square frame. I'll link to a beautiful square die from Create a Smile down below.
I added everything to the panel and my card was done! Such an easy card to make and such a lovely result!

Have a colorful day.....

Hi there it's Anja again this time with a card full of flowers.

A friend asked me to make a card for a birthday girl who is crazy about flowers. Well that shouldn't be to difficult should it with all those lovely flowerstamp sets from create a smile?

I once again started with a topfolded white cardbase.
I diecut a rectangle out of white cardstock and a strip out of some patterned paper.
I stamped several flowers and leaves using different stampsets and colored them with copics and cut them leaving a little white outline.
I arranged the flowers and leaves thus forming a floral bouquet and adjered everything to the cardbase.
Stamped the sentiment and to finish the card i adhered three clear droplets and gave the flowers some accents with a white gelpen.

Stamps;

Crokisses, Magic Flowers, Botanical love and Time to say thanks.

Cool cuts ( dies)

Double stitched rectangles;

Pretty Pink Posh;

Clear droplets;

You can Always combine the different sets together to build a nice card.
The store is once again open so please visit the store and stay tuned for some new sets very soon.......

Have a great week;

Hugs Anja

Cute.......

Hi there it's Anja again on this Monday.
I hope you are doing well all together and are ready to get inspired.

Maybe you have noticed we have a new challenge for the month January and it's all about CUTE.
Well I don't know about you but i think most of the stamps from create a smile are cute, aren't they?
There are already some great cards made with this new theme and maybe you have already tried one so for today I wanted to make a cute card too.

I first sponged the background using the stencil and some distress ink.
Then I stamped the images onto copic friendly paper using the masking technique and building up my image.
Colored the whole image and fuzzy cut it.
Diecut two circles one out of some vellum and one out of white paper. I randomly stamped the zzzzzz at the white circle.
I adhered the whole onto the cardbase and diecut some glasses out of white cardstock.
To finish of the card I placed some waterdroplets rounde the corners and used letterstickers for the sentiment.

Stamps;

Comfy, served up, doctor's helpers, big time.

Alphabeth stickers;

Cool cuts (dies)

Magical frame;

We love to see what you come up with for this challenge so join in the fun, please!!!!!!

Have a great week,
Anja

Stamped Gift Boxes with Terhi Koskinen

Hello everyone!

Terhi here today continuing my experiments as a papercrafter, more than a scrapbooker. Today I decided to make giving and sharing even more beautiful, by altering these little gift boxes with gorgeous stamps. Take a look!

Pinterest, as all internet, is a great place to get inspired. There are millions of tutorials of how to fold a gift box, and as folding isn't my personal passion, we'll skip that part and I'm using ready made ones. But, to alter them, I chose the happiest and pretties stamps and sentiments!
The idea is partly inspired by Christmas, but the idea goes to any gift wrapping, just choose stamps to coordinate with your occasion.

As long as you are in stamping mood, take some coordinating paper and cut some gift tags in the same time. It makes your gift even more perfect and pretty.
I went even one step further by decorating some of my gift with a flair buttons that can be purchased from Create A Smile store. The receiver will get a nice and pretty gift, and a memory too. The flair button can be used later as a fridge magnet or any other little decoration.

Tutorial is available here (link):
