Strong like coffee

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to our crafty space. Raluca here with a new card showcasing the "Just like coffee" stamp set.

I realized that I haven't used the "Just like coffee" mini stamp set and really wanted to play with it.

First step was to die cut a white panel using the largest stitched rectangle.
Then, I stamped the coffee pot and masked it so I could stamp the background behind it.
I used the smallest triangle from the "Going graphic" stamp set and I stamped the pattern behind the coffee cup using a mint ink pad. Next, I peeled the mask of the image and colored the pot using Nuvo markers.
I stamped the sentiment next to it and I added a few clear sequins for more effect.
I mounted the panel on a dark grey card base and my card was done.

True friends

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to our crafty space. Raluca here with a new card using the beautiful "Time to say thanks" stamp set.

I colored these leaves in March during the #thedailymarker30day challenge and I finally decided to make a card with them.

First thing was to die cut a white panel using the largest stitched rectangle and add gold splatters all over it.
I mounted the leaves using some foam tape and under them I added a sentiment from the "Friends like you" set. I stamped the first part of the sentiment in VersaMark and white heat embossed it on a kraft strip of cardstock and the second part I stamped it directly on the white panel.
I glued a few clear sequins, mounted the panel on a kraft card base and my card was done.

You're so sweet!

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to our crafty space. Raluca here with a new card using the adorable "Served Up!" stamp set.

I am in love with this stamp set and I truly enjoy coloring this cute hippo. I wanted to make a clean card with a simple design, yet striking.

On a white panel die cut with the largest stitched rectangle I stamped the biggest Hello from the "Just saying Hello" stamp set. I colored it with Nuvo markers in a ombre look. Underneath I stamped another sentiment from the "Served up!" set.
Then I stamped and colored the hippo and a couple of the little sweets from the set. I glued everything to the panel and I added a few clear sequins.
I mounted the panel on a dark grey card base using craft foam and my card was done.

Welcome Baby 2

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to our crafty space. Raluca here with a new card showcasing the adorable "Welcome Baby" stamp set.

I wanted to play with my Distress Inks and to make a ombre background and I also wanted to play with this cute stamp set. This is how I decided on this design. I also made a girl version last week and you can check it here.

This is really a simple design and easy to make and the process is really fun.
On a white panel die cut with the largest stitched rectangle I ink blended a few of my blue Distress Inks in a ombre look. Then, I stamped the cloud in VersaMark almost all over the panel and white heat embossed it.
Next step was to die cut a white frame using two stitched rectangle dies and adhered it to the background.
Then, I stamped the sentiment on a black piece of cardstock , white heat embossed it and added it to the background.
I stamped the adorable elephant and colored it with Nuvo markers. I fussy cut it and adhered it to a circle die cut from vellum and glued the circle to the panel.
Glued a few clear sequins and mounted the panel on a white card base and my card was done. See?! Pretty easy, right?!

Hello and hugs

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to our crafty space. Raluca here with a new card using a few awesome stamp sets.

I looked through my small collection of embossing powders and saw that I have only 2 colored ones, one pink and one green. I loved he green one and I wanted to use it on kraft cardstock, so I searched for a solid stamp and I decided to go with the Clustered Leaves.

On a kraft cardstock die cut with the largest stitched rectangle I stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed in green the stamp in the center of the panel. With the help of Misti I stamped once the leaves and then I rotated the panel and stamped again. Following the same steps I stamped the leaves from the "Time to say thanks" set in the corners. For more interest I added a few white splatters on the panel.
Then, on a cream piece of cardstock I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark and heat embossed it in green and adhered it in the center. I mounted the kraft panel on a cream card base and my card was done.

How do you feel about colored embossing powders and how many do you have in your stash? I think that I should add some more to mine, too :)
