A Cup of Christmas Cheer

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I'm sharing an adorable, Christmas card!

I really love that adorable mouse, and I saw this phrase on Pinterest, and wanted to try it out with the mixed letters from Create a Smile!

Let's make this card together!

- I started by stamping and coloring the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! Once everything was dry, I fussy cut them out!
- I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks to create the ink blended background.
- then I splattered some water and white acrylic paint onto the background.
- once that was all dry, I used white embossing paste and the stencil to add some texture and whimsy to the background!

- I stamped the sentiment in two different kinds of font onto vellum, then heat embossed it and fussy cut it out!

- the cup and sentiment was popped up with foam tape

I used bright greens for the background, but any color at all would be gorgeous with that big snowflake!

For the images, I used the cute, new Mouse Au Chocolat. I created the sentiments with the Clear Letters and Clear Lettering Alphas. The background features the beautiful Snowflake Stencil!

There is ALWAYS a fun challenge going on in the Create a Smile Stamp Facebook group page! It's fun and filled with prizes! I love seeing all of the incredible, unique and amazing inspiration!

Sweetest Time of the Year

Hi everyone and welcome back to our creative space!
Raluca here with a brand new card showcasing two new products from Create a Smile Stamps.

I always love a good die and this is one of the best! You can use this die in two ways. You can use the positive die cut, but you can also use the negative one and not waste any cardstock. And this is what I did today!

* First I trimmed a square white panel and in the center I die cut the beautiful Cool Cuts Kathi Snowflake die. I took the snowflake and used it on another card and the the negative die cut I kept it and used it on this project.
* Next, I looked through my watercolor panels stash (yes, I have one :) ) and chose one that wasn't perfect, but looked really pretty behind the die cut panel.

* I added foam tape on the back of the white panel and adhered it onto the watercolor one. I glued everything on a mint square card base.
* From the Clear Favorite Cookie stamp set I stamped a sentiment on a white strip and mounted it in the center of the snowflake.

I had so much fun creating this card and I love how fast and easy was to make it. All the Create a Smile products coordinates beautifully and I hope that you'll take a look at your stash and decide to use the products in different ways cause it's really fun!

Enjoy!

Hello crafty friends, it's Kerstin here! Today I have a little christmas gift box for you.

I love to create my own patterned paper, especially for christmas projects. That's why I choose one of my favorite christmas sets: festive foliage.

  • stamp your images multiple times on plain white cardstock
  • color in the pinecones
  • add some watercolor sprinkles to the cardbase with the same colors as on the images
  • now you can turn your patterned paper into a background panel for a card or - like in this case - into a box
  • use a matching color for the bottom part of the box
  • diecut a label with one of the smaller dies from the double stitched rectangles set

Christmas is near and shipping flatrates are only 3,70 € worldwide and 1,55 € in Germany!

I hope you got inspired. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,
Kerstin
