For Everything You Do Card

Hi there!
Samantha here today, and I have to say...I'm totally LOVING this card today!

Just because I'm the only one I know who doesn't like coffee...doesn't mean I don't like pretty things! Ha!! I can't wait to brighten someone's day with this fun card!

Let's make this card together!

- stamp and color your image (I used lots of images from lots of sets! Ha!) I colored everything in with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
- fussy cut out and set aside

- on your card front, stamp the leaves image three times at different angles in a light grey ink and then splatter with white acrylic paint!
- it doesn't matter if the stamped leaves overlap, because your main image will go over top

- arrange your flowers/leaves around the coffee cup in your desired look
- heat emboss the sentiment in white onto a strip of black cardstock and then attach

This would the PERFECT card to include a gift card in for a friend or teacher!

Ok, for such a 'small' focal point area on this card, I used a bunch of stamps!! Ha! I used Botanical Love, Coffee First, In Bloom, Magic Flowers, Time to Say Thanks and the Clustered Leaves cling stamp! Whew!

So exciting...next week is release week!!! Be sure to stick around to see all of the NEW goodies and inspiration!

Hello and Hugs to You!

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I'm sharing one of my favorite cards in a while!!

Oh yes, I am in LOOOOOVE with this card!! The cool and warm pinks with the grey...love this color combo!!

Shall we get started making this card?

- stamp and color your flower images! (I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers!)
- once dry, fussy cut out
- on your white card front, stamp in grey ink
- I added a little dimension to the leaves by adding some darker grey shading to the inside portion of all the leaves! love that little detail!

- stamp the large part of the sentiment and fussy cut out
- heat emboss the rest of the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock
pop up both pieces of the sentiment with fiam tape
- sprinkle white acrylic paint over the whole piece! :D

You know what would really finish off this card? Sequins!! A few perfectly placed sequins would really add some WOW to this card!

I used the wonderful Cling Clustered Leaves set for the background! The sentiment is from Just Saying Hello! And the flowers are from Magic Flowers

Rainbow Leaves

Hey stampers, Anni here!

Are you into Distress Oxides lately? Just like me? Or should I say just like nearly the whole crafting world?

I wanted to play with my Oxides and I wanted to create a rainbow with partial stamping! So I needed a solid image and I chose the Clustered Leaves.

I used my MISTI for stamping the leaves. I stamped it several times, always just inking up one small part of the stamp. By overlapping the colours they blended easily and I created a rainbow leaf.
Then I stamped some tiny flowers in black and added some black dots with my embossing pen. After I was satisfied how my image turned out I die cut it with a stitched rectangle die.
I decided to go with a simple Hallo for the sentiment and embossed it in white on black cardstock.
To the cardbase I adhered a piece of black and white patterned paper (channeling my inner Samantha Mann) and that finished up my card.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
Anni

Thank you in pastel

Hi crafty friends and welcome back to our crafty space. Raluca here with a new card using a few of the amazing Create a Smile stamps :)

To be honest, I didn't have any plan or idea. All I knew was that I wanted to use the Clustered Leaves cling stamp.

On a light grey cardstock I stamped in VersaMark and white embossed the clustered leaves all over the panel.
Then, on a white piece of cardstock I stamped flowers and leaves in different colors. After I was done stamping I fussy cut all of them.
Next, I mounted all the images onto the card and I added in the center a sentiment stamped on a white circle.
And my card was done! Pretty easy, right?!

Tag ALong

Hey stampers, Anni here!
Today I have a tag and a Father's Day card to show.

I recently discovered a new to me technique called Joseph's coat and I had to try it out.

I created a few colourful backgrounds on tags by experimenting with my Distress Oxide Inks.
When the background was totally dry I stamped images and sentiments with Versamark and embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then I blended black ink onto the tag. The areas with the clear embossing resists the black ink and the colourful background still shows. Love the effect!

  • You need to choose solid images and sentiment to get a real good effect.
  • After adding the black ink you have to clean up the embossed areas with a dump paper towel a few times to get a clean look.
  • During the prozess your finger get really inky. If you don't like that you have to wear rubber gloves.

Next week I have two more examples of the same technique - hope to see you again.
