You Make the World Magical Card

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I am sharing a magical and whimsical little treat!

I just really, really wanted to use those unicorns!! Ha! And when I remembered the sentiment included a unicorn, I knew it was match made in heaven!

Let's make this card together!

- stamp color the images (I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers)
- once dry, fussy cut and set aside
- time to ink blend! (I used Distress Oxide Inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers)
- heat emboss the clouds in white

- using a water brush, add water to the inside of the clouds, let sit for a few seconds and then blot off with a paper towel (I repeated this a few times)
(splatter some water and white acrylic paint
- attach the unicorns and sentiment with foam tape
- add glitter to the unicorn horns!

I usually ink blend with the plain Distress Inks, but I'm not kidding when I saw that the Distress Oxide Inks blend SO easily and SO smoothly! Definitely give it a try if you haven't!

I just love those cute little clouds from the Cloudy Day cling stamp set! The sentiment is from Friends Like You, which just perfect with the unicorns from the Superpowers stamp set!

Even Chocolate Won't Fix This Card

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I am sharing a sweet little 'missing you' kind of card!

I was flipping through my stamp sets, and my eye caught on that sweet sentiment about chocolate (yum!) and I just KNEW I had to make a card with it!

Let's make this card together!

- stamp color the images (I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers)
- once dry, fussy cut and set aside
- I die cut a circle and used the negative part as a mask to ink blend in the circle! (I used Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks!)
- then I placed the stencil on top of the masked off circle and ink blended with a darker shade of Oxide Inks to add some texture to the background!
- next, I splattered some water on top

- heat emboss the large sentiment onto a strip of pink cardstock, and trim into a banner

- add some sequins!

I am a big fan of fussy cutting! I do it all the time, buy choice! Ha! But if you're not a fan, you could totally mask off the flowers and then do the ink blending!

This card was SO fun to make! I used the Say What set for the fun speech bubble! The adorable monkey and sentiment is from When You're Not Around! And the background stencil is Focal Point! Oh, and I can't forget the sequins from Pretty Pink Posh!

Hello, Poppies!

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I am sharing a sweet, little hello!

Guys, those flowers are just so beautiful! I love the shapes and sizes! Just perfection! And I totally want to use them on a scrapbook page, too...so maybe I can make that happen one day! Ha!

Let's make this card together!

- stamp color the flower images (I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers)
- once dry, fussy cut and set aside
- using Distress Inks, ink blend in one of the corners! (I used Mowed Lawn, Black Soot and Twisted Citron)
- splatter on some water and white acrylic paint

- heat emboss the large sentiment on vellum and fussy cut out

- heat emboss the smaller sentiment in white, onto a strip of black cardstock
- add some sequins!

I am a big fan of fussy cutting! I do it all the time, buy choice! Ha! But if you're not a fan, you could totally mask off the flowers and then do the ink blending!

I used the beautiful sentiment from Just Saying Hello! And the gorgeous, stunning flowers are from Pure Poppies!

Cool Friends (in Colored Pencils) Card

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I am sharing a simple, but fun, friendship card!

I really LOVE the image from this set! And usually I fussy cut it out, which takes some time, but is totally worth it, in my opinion! But I wanted to experiment and practice coloring with colored pencils, so this time I stamped it on some kraft!

Let's make this card together!

- stamp and heat emboss the image onto a light kraft cardstock
- color your images (I used crayola colored pencils, if you can believe it! nothing fancy!)
- add some details to the images with a white gel pen

- heat emboss the sentiment and then add some clear sequins
- so fun, and i LOVE the dimension you can add!

Guys, this is almost a one layer card!! Which is something I hardly ever do! But I really wanted to try my hand at coloring this adorable image with colored pencils! you could easily have paper pieced those ferris wheel carts! what a fun pop of color that would have been!

That adorable winter image is from A Friendly Turn stamp set! I also used some clear sequins to a little shine!

Joy to the World Card!

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I am sharing a simple, but bold, Christmas card!

I am seriously in love with this cute little snowmen! I added puff balls to the ends of their hats, and it really was the inspiration for this card! I can't even lie! :P

Let's make this card together!

- stamp and color your images (I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers)
- once dry, fussy cut out
- for the background, I cut a piece of black cardstock for my card front and then heat embossed the sentiment in white!

- then, I added some sparkle with Crystal Stickles to the glowing lights and blushing cheeks!!

I decided to put this scene onto black cardstock so it would pop! Plus, you don't see many Christmas cards on black cardstock, so why not? Ha!

I used the sweet, little snowmen from Easy Breezy along with the beautiful world image from Joy to the World

Christmas Monster

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I am sharing a simple, but bold, Christmas card!

I am in the Christmas card making mood!! Anyone else with me? Ha!
And these critters from Beast Feast are absolutely my FAVORITE Christmas monsters ever!

Let's make this card together!

- stamp and color your images (I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers)
- once dry, fussy cut out
- for the background on the outside, I used Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire Distress Inks to create the pretty ink blended background!

- then, I used a stencil and some white embossing paste to add the snowflakes! so pretty!
- the sentiment was heat embossing in white onto  strip of black cardstock and then popped up for dimension!

After the embossing paste is added with the stencil, remove the stencil and sprinkle on some sparkling clear embossing paste! Once the paste is dry, heat set the embossing powder and it will add some sparkle and shine to the snowflakes that won't flick off!

The cute little images are from Beast Feast, but the stencil in the background is Wave of Snowflakes! So pretty!
