With Love From Me to You Card

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I am sharing a happy and tropical, summer friendship card!

Create a Smile stamps makes one of a kind floral images and I knew it was time to make a flower-forward card with that new stencil!

Let's make this card together!

- first, I stamped colored all the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then once they were all dry, I fussy cut them out!
- I also splattered some ink color and white acrylic ink on top of the images
- I used Distress Inks in Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles to do some ink blending from the top left corner down

- I did more splattering, this time with greens and white acrylic ink onto the backgroun
- I used the stencil and the same colors in Distress Inks, but this time with more pressure, to add the leafy background.

- I heat embossed part of the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock
- then I stamped the large 'you' directly onto my cardfront
- finally, I finished off the card with some clear sequins!

In order to get the leaves close to each other and in different areas, I used some printer paper to cover up the areas/leaves of the stencil, so I didn't add ink to areas I didn't want it!

For the background, I used the new Leafy Stencil! The flowers are from a retired set, but look at these gorgeous alternatives! And the sentiment is from All About You.

A Sweet Birthday Treat Card

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I'm sharing a sweet little birthday cad, with just the CUTEST little critter!

Honestly, that elephant is the cutest image and *always* one of my favorites! I think it makes ANY card just adorable! ha - instant adorable-ness!

Let's make this card together!

- I started by stamping and coloring the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers! Once everything was dry, I fussy cut them out!
- I used Black Soot, Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks to create the ink blended background, which I die cut with some stitched rectangle dies!
- then I used the twinkle stencil with white embossing paste to create the starry night scene!

- I popped up the phrase banner and elephant and candy image with foamy tape, and everything else was glued down directly to the background!
- I finished off the card with some glitter on the party hat and little heart in the cloud!

I kind of used the lollipop image as a balloon *and* a candy image! It helps the sentiment to make sense, and it also is a fun pop of color! I love it!

I used the Twinkle Stencil for the background! The images are from the Paw Prints, First Day of School, and A Little Treat! I also used the Cool Cuts Double Stitched Rectangles Die Set!

Hello, Poppies!

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I am sharing a sweet, little hello!

Guys, those flowers are just so beautiful! I love the shapes and sizes! Just perfection! And I totally want to use them on a scrapbook page, too...so maybe I can make that happen one day! Ha!

Let's make this card together!

- stamp color the flower images (I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers)
- once dry, fussy cut and set aside
- using Distress Inks, ink blend in one of the corners! (I used Mowed Lawn, Black Soot and Twisted Citron)
- splatter on some water and white acrylic paint

- heat emboss the large sentiment on vellum and fussy cut out

- heat emboss the smaller sentiment in white, onto a strip of black cardstock
- add some sequins!

I am a big fan of fussy cutting! I do it all the time, buy choice! Ha! But if you're not a fan, you could totally mask off the flowers and then do the ink blending!

I used the beautiful sentiment from Just Saying Hello! And the gorgeous, stunning flowers are from Pure Poppies!

Joy to the World Card!

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I am sharing a simple, but bold, Christmas card!

I am seriously in love with this cute little snowmen! I added puff balls to the ends of their hats, and it really was the inspiration for this card! I can't even lie! :P

Let's make this card together!

- stamp and color your images (I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers)
- once dry, fussy cut out
- for the background, I cut a piece of black cardstock for my card front and then heat embossed the sentiment in white!

- then, I added some sparkle with Crystal Stickles to the glowing lights and blushing cheeks!!

I decided to put this scene onto black cardstock so it would pop! Plus, you don't see many Christmas cards on black cardstock, so why not? Ha!

I used the sweet, little snowmen from Easy Breezy along with the beautiful world image from Joy to the World

Friends are the Best Superheros Card

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today I have this superhero themed card to share about friendship!

I saw that CUTE CUTE CUTE mouse (my absolute FAVORITE critter image from Create a Smile Stamps, by the way!) and thought how fun it would be to make a bunch of them cheering on the flying one! Ha!

Here's how I made this layout!

- first I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
- once dry, fussy cut out and set aside
- next, ink blend the sky ( I used Distress Inks in Black Soot, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon) and the grass (Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn)

- then, I flicked on some water, and ink color to the backgrounds
- I heat embossed the swoosh of stars from the flying mouse and then adhered everything to the card
- lastly, I added the sentiment strip to the bottom of the scene!

I LOVE how well Create a Smile stamps all work together! So combining the phrases from the Friends Like You stamp set together with the super hero image is just too fun!

I used the First Day of School stamp set, Superpowers, and the super fun Swooshes stamp set! The title was created with Friends Like You stamp set!
