Truth be told, I got this Secret Ingredients stamp set for Christmas and wanted to create with it before winter is over! Don't you just love diving into a new stamp set?!
- I first create the card base measuring 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 and die cut a stitched frame.
- For the background, I first heat embossed the stars in white with the twinkle stencil, and then inked lightly with antique linen & tattered rose.
- Next, I stamped the snowmen & ingredients and created the table from the Triangle Banners stamp set, colored them with copic markers and used my scan 'n cut to cut out.
- To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment in versafine black ink, adding wink of stella and white accents to a few of the images, and some yellow nuvo drops.
To create my slimline stitched frame, I first trimmed a long piece of cardstock and ran the die through, stopping before it cut the bottom. I lined it up in the stitches already made and repeated on the opposite side. For the width, I lined it up in the stitches and ran it through again, stopping before it cut the bottom. I then repeated it on the opposite side, creating my slimline stitched die!
Don't forget about the bi-weekly challenge that you can enter using your Create a Smile stamps for your chance to win!
Thank you for stopping by!
