Happy everything
Hi everyone...
It's Ashlee here today and I have a card to share with you that I made with the awesome blossom stencil and some WOW! metallic gold sparkle powder...
I love using stencils to heat emboss with my embossing powders so this started the idea for this card...
- Start by cutting a piece of blue cardstock to your desired card base size, then using a pink ink blend had way up the cardstock to give it an ombre of colour.
- Place your stencil over the top of the cardstock and hold in place with a bit of removable tape.
- Go over the stencil with embossing ink and then once you have covered the area remove the stencil.
- Tip on embossing powder (I used WOW! metallic gold sparkle) and cover all the ink, tip off the excess and then heat emboss.
- Using the "Happy" cool cut die cut it in white card, on the top part of the die cut use some pink ink to blend some ink onto it for some colour.
- Stamp "Everything" sentiment in pink ink on white card and back in the same colour blue card.
- Finish off with some pretty sequins
- Make sure the ink blended onto the card base is totally dry before applying embossing powder otherwise the powder will stick to all of the area.
There is a fabulous Create a smile challenge every fortnight over on the blog with a wonderful prize of a voucher to the CAS store for the lucky winner!!
Happy crafting everyone....
Hugs Ashlee.
