Hello Crafters!
It's Kelly! I'm back after a bit of a break and I'm so excited to share some fun ideas with the new stamps that have been coming out!
I used Eggstarordinary Egghunt for my card today. I love these little guys and they are so much more than just Easter! Let me show you :)
I thought it would be so cute to use the chicken/rooster and make him grumpy! Everyone is cranky without coffee. . .Or at least I am :)
I stamped my rooster, colored him with copic markers and then I fussy cut him out. I wanted a cute farm pattern to go with him but I thought a whole panel would be overwhelming. I used the flag from Monster Party to create a border and then hand drew in the gingham pattern. Originally, I was going to color it red but it turned out looking more lumberjack than farm animal :) I stamped the coffee mug (also from monster party) cut and colored it the same as the rooster. After I stamped my sentiment I added the rooster and mug with dimension adhesive. The right side of my card was busy compared to the left so I added a strip of red to balance it out.
Your stamps can be all sorts of things. You can make a flag a border or whatever you want. Think outside the box! The same goes for patterns. If you don't have pattern papers that fit the bill consider drawing simple patterns yourself :)
Don't forget to link up any of your Create A Smile creations to our side bar for a chance to win prizes!!
Thanks for stopping by!
