Hello crafty friends,
Time for "3" on our August Release countdown. (I love countdowns, they're full of excitement because you know something big will happen SOON!)
First up is some inspiration from our fabulous design team, that always keeps me speechless:
Kelly made this INCREDIBLE one-layer card using the hummingbird from Jungle Fever. You know what? The grey ones were made with black doot distress ink and an H20 Pen. All the birds are coloured with distress inks - but using black soot and getting such a soft look really impresses me. I love this version of the spotlight-technique, especially with that sentiment!
Next up is Linda. She used the kitty from Your View, coloured it beautifully and added it to a diagonal embossed pattern. I never tried to emboss on a diagonal line - I will have to try that!
