birthday flowers
Hi everyone...
It's Ashlee here today and I have a birthday card to share with you that I made featuring some images from the lovely new set floral decorations. This set is so versatile and fun to use!!
I wanted to use one image from the set on the background just using black ink and it all just grew from there.
- Stamp the image from floral decorations set from top to bottom corner of the card base using black ink
- Stamp, cut and colour some leaves and flowers from the same stamp set
- Stamp the HAPPY sentiment with black ink on the card base and then die cut the cool cut birthday from white and black cardstock
- Add the flowers, leaves and sentiment to the card base with foam tape for dimension
- Finish off with some sequins.
- Start with just one image using black ink and build your idea from that start point to see what you can come up with.
There is a fun create a smile challenge over on the blog every two weeks, check it out we would love to see your entry. There is even a wonderful gift certificate for the CAS store up for grabs for the lucky winner!!
Happy crafting everyone....
Hugs Ashlee.

Its a lovely card !!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty. Isn't it fun when the card sort of creates itself! Sometimes I simply go and sit down and start a card, and surprise myself with the outcome. Other times, I really 'want' to create a card and I cannot put anything together.
