Christmas Florals

Hello!  It's Candice with you today sharing an elegant Christmas card!

I just adore the large selection of florals that are in the Create a Smile shop and that I could use them for a unique and pretty Christmas card!

I began with an 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 card base and die cut a stitched slimline panel from red cardstock.

I then die cut two set of the postage circles to line up where I was going to place my florals.

I heat embossed the first sets, making sure to leave space in between, in gold from Floral Decorations and Solid Florals stamp sets.

Next, I heat embossed another group of florals in red on vellum and fussy cut them out.  I used glue dots to hold them down at the tips and let the rest pop up a little.

I die cut two more smaller postage circles and stamped the sentiments from the Small Christmas Sentiments stamps.

To put the card together, I glued the larger circle down and then added the smaller one with foam tape into the center of each floral group.

I finished with a simple splatter of green sequins and nuvo drops with a few white nuvos!

Adding a few white accents with a pen can draw the eye in where you want the attention to go on your card as I did with the heat embossed floral images.
