A Splash of Colour

Hi everyone! Marina here. Today I would like to share with you a clean & simple card I've made with a touch of elegance (I hope).

I wanted to show you that we dynamic and big beautiful stamps you can create a nice scene or background with just a splash of the colour of your choice.

I knew that I wanted sort of a spotlight splash of colour that fades out. I've randomly stamped out the image and heat embossed it in white so that you could have a resist effect.

I, then, took yellow watercolour and diluted it with quite a bit of water and just started to paint it from the center and slowly pull the colours to the side. To create this fading out effect, the more water you have on your brush with you pull the colours, the better. This gives a lighter share of colour, hence, the fade out :)

Just remember to start light. The more water you have the lighter it colour will be. You can always add more when it dries to make it more vibrant or darker. It's just easier to add on more colours than trying to get it off :)
