Hey friends!!It's Ashlee here today...
I have a new slimline card to share with you using the awesome Fur real stamp set and the Leafy stencil....
For this one I wanted to have a bit of a play around with some gloss sprays and create a mixed media type background so this was my starting point for my card.
- Start with a piece of watercolour cardstock and spray with a mix of Dina gloss sprays- Using the leafy stencil add some leaves to parts of the base with a black ink- Splatter with white paint - Add a sentiment by embossing with WOW! gold embossing powder on black cardstock and then fussy cut it out and add to the base with foam tape- Stamp, colour and fussy cut the lion and rock from the Fur real stamp set and add to the card also with foam tape for dimension- Finish off with a touch of sequins
Mixed media is all about having fun, just play around and layer up. It might not look good to start with but once you start adding layers it ends up looking awesome!!
