Every Little Thing is Gonna Be Alright

Hello!  Candice with you today sharing an uplifting mini slimline card for any friend!

I am always looking for ways to combine my flower sets with images to create different scenes.  I love that this bike is perfect for any of the floral sets that Create a Smile has!

We will start with the background.  I first made my mini slimline card base measuring 6 1/2 x 4.  I then die cut the scalloped panel using the partial die cut method (run the die through your machine partway and then flip and line it up on the other side and run it partway through again!)

I taped off the edges and used the Knitted stencil with weathered wood and speckled egg oxide inks to create the ombre effect.  I love that this stencil can be used for Spring cards too!

Next, I stamped the flowers and the bike onto watercolor paper, colored them with Zig markers, and fussy cut them out.

I then created the sentiment by die cutting the "hello" from the same watercolor paper and colored with the Zig markers.  I glued it above the Kraft banner which I stamped the long sentiment on and adhered with foam tape.

I arranged the flowers on the card with glue and popped the bike up for some great dimension!  I finished with a few sequins and white nuvo drops!
