Hello everyone, it's Terhi here! If you wonder how any dreams or wishes are attached to this photograph, let me tell you. My daughter turned seven early June and all spring long she wish to have her own phone. In Finland children starts their school the year they turn seven, and having phone in school is important - she walks her way to school by herself, and she comes to empty home after the school days. She needs to have a way to contact me and her father. Obviously these wasn't the reasons why she wished to had a phone, apps and games might have been the main one.
Anyway, she woke up in her birthday morning and got her long-waited present: Her own mobile phone with pink bling-bling covers!
As said, her phone has a cover reminding of magic. Pink and diamonds, and star shaped lock. So I took Cool Cuts called Magical Frame and created a layout around the little hat and tiny classes with the photograph. And to bring the star theme on the layout I played with Lots of Stars Stencil and also by using lots of star shaped chipboards, Nested Stars! I think I don't need to mention how I chose the color scheme.
I wanted to use Make A Wish stamps as my title, and placing it onto one of the banners cut with Cool Cuts called Stacked Pierced Banners turned to look nice.
Whether you're doing card, scrapbook page or any other carfts, repeating a pattern creates lovely 3D-effect easily and fast. Like on this layout, you'll find stars from the background, stamped and painted, again stars with the chipboards and even on top of the picture on the tiny magic hat.
Please find the video below or watch it here.
