Loops of Love

Hey stampers, Anni here!
Today I have an easy to make and clean& simple card for you.

Life is crazy right now and so I needed to make a card that takes not so much time. Loops of Love is the perfect set for this occassion.

  • I started by die cutting a Double Stitched Rectangle from watercolour cardstock.
  • Then I stamped an dheat embossed in white three hearts in a row.
  • I filled the hearts with water with a brush and sprinkled the some colour pigments into the water.
  • All that was left to do then was to stamp the sentiment. In English it says something like "How nice that you were born, we would have really missed you otherwise.". It is from a German Birthday song.

Create a Smile will be on the Stempelmekka - Europe's biggest stamp faire. Maybe you can come along, too, we would love to meet you in real life.

Colorful Day

Hi everyone and welcome back to our creative space!
Raluca here with a brand new card showcasing the awesome "Loops of Love" stamp set from the new Create a Smile Stamps release, along with the adorable "First Day of School" cling stamp.

As I've mentioned before, my 4yrs old daughter had some fun with some cheap watercolors and created some watercolored panels, which I absolutely love and enjoy using them for my cards. For today's project I used one of her fun and pretty panels.

* I die cut the watercolored panel using the largest stitched rectangle die.
* I stamped and white embossed the awesome loops from the set all over the panel.
* To complete the pattern I stamped the smaller loops using different colors of ink and mounted the panel on a bigger white card base.

* Next I die cut two circles from yellow and white cardstock and I die cut a hill from the white one.
* Mounted the white circle on the yellow one and mounted them on the card.
* On a white cardstock I stamped the images and colored them using Spectrum Noir markers.
* After I fussy cut the images, I mounted them on the circle and my card was done.

The gold loops are just stamped directly on top of each other. I think these loops goes really well with watercolour look.

Next, I wanna share is the : To The Moon set

Some of the talented ladies in this Design Team have create beautiful spacey background to go with this set. I tried and kind of failed so I've decided to go with a "make your own background out of the stamps" route ;)
