A Big Hello!

Hi there!
Samantha here, and today a happy hello card, with a big greeting!

I thought it would be a sweet idea to have part of the sentiment being 'blown' out of the elephant's trunk like water!

Let's make this card together!

- I started by using a dry brush and spreading on some black gesso on the background of my card
- then I stamped and colored the images with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
- once it was dry, I fussy cut out the images

- I heat embossed the 'hello' part of the phrase with white powder onto vellum, and then fussy cut out along the words
- I popped up the elephant, banner and big hello with foam tape
- then I finished the card off with some star sequins!

At first, I was going to use the banner sentiment, with the world being balanced on the elephant's nose! But then I thought it would be cute to have the elephant trumpeting out the "hello" through his nose! Either way would look cute, though!

I used the world image from To the Moon, the elephant from First Day of School and the big hello is from Lettering Alphas!

There is ALWAYS a fun challenge going on in the Create a Smile Stamp Facebook group page! It's fun and filled with prizes! I love seeing all of the incredible, unique and amazing inspiration!

  • first I did some inkblendig with the new splotches stencil
  • I choose colors to create a galaxy like background
  • and splattert some white color onto the splotch
  • I colored the little astronaut with alkohol markers and
  • adhered him with foam adhesive onto the panel

Please keep in mind that Create a Smile is still open!! They are still out there packing and sending orders once a day. And they know you need some stamps to survive the time staying at home!

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

[VIDEO] Two Supereasy Wiper-Cards

Hello everybody :-)

I fell in love with wipercards! Ok, I like all interactive cards. But I only fall in love with easy interactive cards ;-)  So I hope you'll share my opinion after watching my videos.

I created two cards for you, so you'll have enough chances to see and understand the mechanism.

And I hope I can catch you ;-)

But first you have to scroll though all these pics ;-)

I looove interactive cards, but what I like even more is, when such cards tell a kind of story. Of course I just can put a critter on a card and let swipe up a "Hello". But in this case, I like to create a sciene...

Her you can watch my Video in "a kind of" english ;-)

... und hier das Video in Deutsch (was ich viel besser kann)

Maybe you create one dummy-card and you can save this in your drawer for all your later wiper-cards (this is how I did it now ;-) )

Make sure you visit our blog regulary, because at our lovely challenges you have the chances to win 25€ Gift Cards :-)
