Fun and inspiring video hop. I saw all, but Fruit Salad, new sets on the hop (In Bloom, Lights On!, Light up the Dark, Where Your Heart is & Cart Full of Treasures)...Kelly pretty much covered all. :) My favourite technique is masking. Hopefully, my comment will post. ;)

ReplyDeleteGlad you are back!! I saw "In Bloom", "Cart Full of Treasures", "This Must Be Love", "Happy Days", "Where your heart is", "Light Up the Dark", "Lights On". I think I love Copic coloring and masking to create scenes the best. I'm not a master like Kelly Latevola... but someday!

ReplyDeleteThe sets I saw were In Bloom, This Must Be Love (old set), Happy Days, Where Your Heart Is, Cart full of Treasurers, Light Up the Dark, and Light's On. The videos we great,love seeing the different ideas from so many wonderful card makers! It's hard for me to decide on my favorite technique it would be between masking I just love it and blending with distress oxide mainly because it's new and works wonderfully! Thanks for the opportunity!

ReplyDeleteMy fave stamping technique is stenciling (it's a subtle way to add dimension to a card) and along the hop I saw: In Bloom, Cart Full of Treasures, Light Up The Dark, Where Your Heart Is and Lights On. A really great release! Thanks so much for a chance to win!
Wow...I really enjoyed all the video's on the hop. The cards were all different and with wonderfull results. Laura started with the in bloom set, that Marike, Kelly and Justine used too. Jessica, Kelly and Birka used the set I like the most...the Laterns from Lights on. And Kelly used the 2 other sets tooo, because she could not decide ;o) and these where your love is and Light up the dark.

Awesome release. In Bloom, cart full of treasures, lights on, where your heart is, light up the dark. I like how Jess used tissue paper for her lanterns but ink blending is always fascinating.
ReplyDeleteThis was a great hop. Learned so much from the videos about making these wonderful cards. So many new stamp sets. . .In Bloom, Cart Full of Treasures, Where Your Heart Is, Light Up the Dar, Lights On. . .and This Must Be Love. . .even if one isn't "new", they are all new to me! I think my favorite technique are the backgrounds created with oxide inks and spattered with water, especially the lanterns glowing in the dark. Thanks for sharing these videos and your new release of stamps--they are great!

ReplyDeleteHi Christine ~ Now that I've seen all the amazing videos I had to come back and tell you how AWESOME & AMAZING your video hop team's creations were. The In Bloom stamp set has totally won my heart with their dimensional look. Laura Bassen R-O-C-K-E-D these flowers with my favorite Distress Ink over heat embossed images. Those colors and her coloring are always incredible. Thanks for a wonderful release, welcome back and happy birthday! ~HUGS~

ReplyDeleteA very Happy Birthday to you! am in love with allt he sts, if Im honest. In bloom with all the potential for sweet florals and Light up the dark with its adorable mole, Cart full of treasures is adorable, and Where Your Heart Is, the camper looks just liek the camper we are longing for!
ReplyDeleteBut my favorite, if I have to pick only one is Lights On! I can see so so many cards made up for it with the words of encouragement.
I can't pick just one favorite, but I think Jess's tissue paper lanterns made for a clean and simple, yet stunning card!

My favourite stamp technique - up to now - was multicolor stamping with the stamping tool; I love the bright color mix always looking different. But I was also impressed by the translucent look of the tissue technique of Jess - I have to try this :)

A bit of a late happy birthday wish, and congratulations for being back! I am really excited about your new release, everything looks so beautiful! I also enjoyed watching the videos on the hop, so much beautiful inspiration! The stamp sets I saw featured in the various projects and videos are Cart full of Treasures, This must be love, In Bloom, Happy Days, Light up the dark, Lights on,Where your hearth is. My favorite stamping technique is masking: I don't personally use it a whole lot, but I am always amazed at what people make with this technique! Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back and Happy Birthday! The new stamp sets are very cute. The ones I saw were In Bloom, Lights On, Light up the Dark, Where Your Heart is and Cart Full of Treasures. I loved Laura Bassen's beautiful In Bloom card and the scene card by Kelly Latevola that used almost all of the stamps. I'm new to Createasmile so it was nice to see the old stamp sets used as well.

For. Me its a hard decision between In Bloom and Lights On. My favoutire technique at the moment is with my Zig real brush markers but I am keen to get sme distress oxide ink to play with

My favourite technique is probably embossing resist.
