This is the 6th Coffee Lovers Blog Hop already - and again, we're happy to be one of the so called "Super Sponsors".
We're giving away a 25€ gift card to www.createasmilestamps.com
If you are new to the Coffee Lovers Blog Hops - you can din all the info on how this works and how to win at the end of this post :)
Today I'd love to share a coffee card with you (well, there could also be tea or hot chololate in that mug...)
Of course this needed to be a coffee themed creation, but also with a wintery twist. So I decided to use our new Lots of Mugs Stencil and some cool wintery colors for Inkblending. To emphasize the cool look i added some snowflakes.
- cut a circle from paper or masking paper and temporarily adhere it to your topfolding cardbase.
- put the Lots of Mugs stencil on top and blend cool colors (I used seedless preserves, stormy sky and cracked pistachio)from the circle outwards, fading into white
- use the snowflakes from Winter Fun for tone on tone stamping using the same inks while the stencil is still in place
- Remove the circle and draw some dashed lines in black to accentuate the circle.
- stamp the mug from Coffee first onto some thie cardstock, color in matching colors, fuzzy cut and adhere it with some foam tape.
- stamp a black sentiment (This one was from the snow dance kit) - DONE! :)
- to make your coloring match the rest of your project you can use the same Distress inks for coloring.
- Tone on tone stamping on a blended background adds a nice little extra - give it a try!
Our new release with 4 (!) new stamp sets will be so much fun. Release is Dec. 18th, but we'll start the release countdown (including lots of inspiration and giveaways) on Monday :)
Thanks for stopping by, have a great day and some good coffee

The Coffee Lovers Blog Hop:
1. To be eligible for prizes, you must link up a newly created coffee, tea &/or cocoa project on the coffeeloving cardmakers blog. Random.org is used to draw for winners. (NO backlinking)
2. We ask all Super Sponsors and participants to turn off word verification. Please note that there is an annoying glitch with blogger. Even if a person does not have word verification, it still shows up. You can ignore it because it really isn’t working as a true word verification. If someone actually has word verification, it will give you an error message.
3. We encourage commenting on all projects that link up for the hop. Please note that it makes it difficult for commenters if you post to a gallery that needs a login/password. Photobucket is a gallery that we continue to have challenges with.
4. We're celebrating our Cocoa + Tea lovin' friends during this hop!
December 13th: National Cocoa Day
December 15th: International Tea Day
December 15th: International Tea Day
5. There will be FLASH prizes awarded on December 13th + 15th! Link up Tea + Cocoa projects (remember the theme is winter/holiday) to be eligible for prizes. Please link up before 7 pm pacific on each day to be eligible. Winners will be posted in the Coffeeloving Papercrafters FB group by 8:00 pm pacific. Amy will also include the winners on the blog post for Sunday, December 20th on the coffeeloving cardmakers blog..
