I wanted to create a one layer card, so I stamped the monster first on the cardstock piece and then cut it a second time on masking paper. I cut it out and layered it on top of the original monster so could stamp the umbrella. This prevents the images from overlapping and keeps the stamping all on a single layer.
Once the monster and umbrella were stamped, I stamped on the two cloud images and then coloured everything in with Copic markers. I diecut the stamped piece with a fishtail banner die and then layered it onto aqua and grey cardstock before adding it to the white card base.
You can see how I created the card in the video below:
Add glossy accents to the coloured design to add some added detail and dimension. This is a great way to add a little something to a flat, one-layer card.
Other Supplies:
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versafine Onyx Black
Cardstock: Neenah Solar White Cardstock, MFT Steel Blue, Hero Arts Pool
Markers:Copic
Dies: MFT Fishtail Banners
Sequins: Pretty Pink Posh
Lovely card - really like the way you colored little bird and umbrella - so fresh :)
