Can you believe we're just ten days away from Christmas?!
Gah! I'm so behind!! Every year I say I'm going to start early. Every year I buy all my gifts the week before Christmas. At least I'm consistent right?
Today I have 3 cards for you. Let's get started shall we?
When I sat down to create the cards for this post I realized that I haven't really used any of these cute critters to create Christmas cards! How did that happen?! I decided I wanted to buddy up the little guys.
I stamped my snowflake background and then used two circle dies to cut out a window. I stamped my critters on a separate piece of white and colored them with copics. Once they were trimmed out I adhered them to the center circle. I also backed my window with various pattern papers. To create my fox buddy I wanted them facing each other so I used some quick mirror stamping.
If you're a CAS card maker use little details like pen detail and stitched dies to add interest to your card without taking up space. If you're creating similar cards you can use different pattern papers to change up the look of your cards without changing out your main pieces parts. It's a good way to use up scraps too!! If your stamps aren't "looking" the right way use mirror stamping (stamp on a non-porous surface, like acetate, first then flip the acetate and stamp that. fill in your lines with a black pen) to have them face the correct way.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you found some festive inspiration!!
