Ink Smooshed Background

Hello everyone, it's Nina-Marie here today with an ink smooshing/watercolor technique to share with you featuring the Make a Wish stamp set and sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

I love watercoloring, and this card features a really easy way for you to incorporate the watercoloring effect into your card designs. This technique is so forgiving and simple that even the most novice watercolorist can achieve fabulous results!

To see how I have created this card, be sure to watch the video below... I'll take you through the process step-by-step and show you how simple it is to create fun watercolor backgrounds on your holiday cards!

All of the supplies I have used in today's card are linked below for easy reference:

When creating watercolor backgrounds, the most important thing to remember is to HAVE FUN! Don't go into the watercoloring with a set mindset; let your mind have room for the artistic flow to take you down a slightly different road... you'll find that if you let the watercolor do it's thing and try not to control it too much, you might end up with something that is even better than you had originally planned!

If you've enjoyed this video, be sure to give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my YouTube channel... I have videos coming out throughout the month featuring lots of fun techniques and products!

Also, we have a new release coming up for December, featuring lots of new products... you'll want to stick around for that coming up over the next couple weeks!

I hope you've enjoyed today's video and post... thanks so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

xo, Nina-Marie :)

  3. I have to watch the video but I have to say that I love this card! It's a Christmas card but it isn't a Christmas card. I'll bet you could use this technique to do any card. I'm going to save this and watch it when I have more time.
