Hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I want to wish you a Happy New Year.
Happy New Year is the meaning of the German sentiments on my two cards. I wanted to send out some Happy New year cards. As a symbol for luck I chose a pig for both cards.
- Start by stamping, colouring and fussy cutting the pigs.
- Die cut two rectangles from cream cardstock.
- Stamp the sentiment on these rectangles with brwon ink.
- To create a the background stamp 2018 in diagonals all over the cardbase with Versamark ink. Heat emboss with translucent embossing powder.
- Assemble the card.

On Japanese New Year ‘s customs;
Adults put money in a special envelope and give it to children.
This is called “otoshidama” and many children look forward to it very much!
