Have a Monster Birthday

Wow! Today is the first day of 2015 and it is my very first DT post at Create A Smile! Awesome!! I am so honoured to be a part of this amazing team.

My card today, I made a shaker card using two freebies -Monster & Monster sentiment.

Monster's birthday party, what comes to mind first? Let's imagine the scene. They're laughing and dancing, throwing something and whooping it up lol!! I'd like to describe a boisterous party via colourful embellishments behind the window.

Resize digital stamps to fit your cardstock and print them out

Colour the Monster with Copic markers and fuzzy cut it

- Hair & warts: R24, R27, R39

- Body: C1, C3, C5, C9

- Feet: BG13, BG15

Use stitched circle die to make the window and put some different coloured sequins, star shapes, beads behind the window

Adhere the Monster image to front of the window and birthday sentiment banner under the monster image

Decorate the front panel using some stars wood veneers and enamel dots

White & blue twine and black & white swiss dot washi tape to finish the card
