Hello and welcome back, everyone! 
It´s wednesday and this means time for another Create a smile challenge - today with a beautiful pastel (kind of easter-themed) mood board.

First of all let´s have a look what our two guest designers created for the new mood board.

Magdalena used Frohe Ostern, Mix & match patterns, an older set "Easter eggs" and Easter eggs stencil to create this beautiful easter shrub with tiny little 3D flowers.

Stephanie made this pretty and simultaneously super funny (hay fever) spring card using Kirschzeit, Wenn Du nicht da bist and Postage rectangles.

Kathrin made this marvelous kraft and pink easter bunny card using dEGGorations, Clear letters, Verrücktes Huhn, Scene builders, Easter eggs stencil and Postage rectangles.

Laura made this great dazzling springish shaker card using Very cherry.

Martina made this exquisite framed easter (bunny) card using Endlich Frühling, Frohe Ostern, Verrücktes Huhn, Gans besonders, Cloud pattern stencil and Scalloped rectangles.

Mina made this fantastic colorful decorated huge-easter-egg card using Easter tweetings, Frohe Ostern and Double stitched rectangles.

Nina made this lovely easter nest card using dEGGorations, Frohe Ostern, Verrücktes Huhn and Splotch stencil.

In Love with Hexagons

Hello crafty friends, it's Kerstin here!

And again it's release week. Yay! So many fun products are waiting for you. One of them I used on todays card.

 

 

 

You might have noticed that I have a crush on stencils. The new release comes with a very special one: layered hexagons. And of course I had to use it on my card.

  

 

• ink blend hexagons in different shades of yellow onto the card base
• stamp, color and fussy cut your image 
• add some gold splatters to the background and adhere your image

Nina made this pretty unicorn-riding-over-the-rainbow card using Superkräfte, Tolles Team and older set "Geometrics", Cloud pattern stencil and Weather.

Favorite......!!

 Hey CAS friends!!

It's Ashlee here today and I've got some new inspiration to share with you all. I love a bit of ink blending so this card features a pretty blend of colours along with the letters stencil and favorite everything stamp set!!

I was keen to use the letters stencil so this is what started the idea for the whole card and who doesn't love a fun blend of colour!!

- Start with a white card base and mask off a rectangle with masking tape

- Use a mix of ink colours (I used part of the rainbow) and blend, blend, blend until you have the desired amount of colour

- Place the letters stencil over the inked area and use some ink of the same colour family but slightly darker and ink over the whole stencil

- Remove the stencil and then splatter some black paint mixed with a little water over the top 

- Once it is all dry use the favorite sentiment and stamp with black ink

- Add the sub sentiment of choice, I chose friend for mine

- Finish off with a touch of sequins

Use a good smooth cardstock for your ink blending. You will notice a difference on how your ink blend turns out depending on the type of your cardstock.
