Christmas Tri-fold Slimline Card

Hello my Crafty Friends! Candice here and I hope you are enjoying your holidays this year and I have one more Christmas card for you today!

I wanted to see how a slimline would work for a tri-fold card and I am loving how it turned out, what do you think?!

I began my slimline tri-fold base by cutting a piece of white cardstock to 9x9 and scoring at the 3" and 7" to make the final size 4x9.

I then trimmed two pieces of gold shimmer cardstock 2x9 and adhered to the two flaps.

Next, I took the four smallest Stitched Square Frame dies and taped them together.  I then ran it through multiple times from a variety of green and red cardstocks.

I trimmed three white squares to glue the pieces on and adhered in an alternating pattern.

I glued these onto the front, starting with the center to line them up, and trimmed the edges off.

To finish, I die cut multiples of the Christmas sentiment making the top one from gold foil cardstock.  I topped it off with a couple of the little trees from the new Winter Landscape dies.

Whenever you have a new idea always try it!  You never know how it is going to turn out until you do!

Next time you create try doing a card with just dies, it is a fun challenge to see what you end up with!

Thank you for visiting with me today and happy holidays to you!
Candice

Merry Christmas

Hello crafty friends, it's Kerstin here!

Today I have very special christmas card for you. It's a more elegant one. I hope you like it.

I love to use different techniques. This time I used my quill foil pen for transferring the stamped image.

  • stamp the image on gold foil
  • place the foil on your panel and hold it in place with some washitape
  • trace the stamped image with the quill foil pen
  • remove the foil and heat emboss the sentiment
  • ad some splatters onto your panel

We love to see your creations. Please use the hashtag #createasmilestamps when your are sharing your projects on instagram.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,
Kerstin
