About us

My name is Christine Drogt, I'm a 30-something year old cardmaker and blogger from Germany. Some of you may know me from around the crafting community.

I've been part of different design teams so far and created tons of cards during the last years. I also started making videos for my Youtube Channel last year.

The best thing about these experiences is: I met many awesome, talented, beautiful, lovely crafters from all around the world.
In addition I found out that there are so many image-ideas. Things that I'd like to stamp and use - so I started creating them by myself. I am excited to see all the things that happen, when I throw them into the whole wide world :)

So I am owner and illustrator, but there a many more people behind this project:
My companion in life, Michael, works behind the scenes - he's our bookkeeper. In addition we have the most fabulous design team ever- 6 of my crafty friends who joined me for this adventure and who support me  each an every day. A team full of creativity and talent!

If you have any questions concerning our products - please contact us.

  1. Hello Christine, I tried signing to follow your blog and the feedburner won't allow it. I'm not sure why can you advise.

  2. I just wanted to say that I think what you have created so far is fantastic and I believe you will have an extremely success company here. You obviously have loads of talent, not to mention a wonderful design team. I cannot wait to see the terrific things that are going to happen for you and Create A Smile! Congratulations and much success!

  3. Hi Christine. I'm just discovering your company today via your Blog Hop through Jennifer McGuire's email & blog. I've made 4 separate attempts to post Comments about your Blog Hop and my favorite Create A Smile product ("The View" stamp set), but since I can't read/speak German, I can only guess as to how to submit my Comments. (Even this is my 3rd attempt to post a Comment on your "About Us" page!) I'm doing this via my Android smartphone (perhaps there's an English-language button option if I were using my laptop), but neither my phone nor I are smart enough to figure out which link to click on. I keep ending up at the top of your Blog page about the Blog Hop, but none of my Comments has posted. Can you please help me figure what to do to post my Comments and enter your Giveaways? Thanks very much. By the way, the products I've seen are really adorable, and I absolutely LOVE the name of your company -- it's so fitting in so many ways!! :-)

    1. Christine, I think I figured it out. I had to copy-and-paste (or type) each German word or phrase into Google Translate. It took me a while, but I was finally able to submit my Comments, both here and to the Blog Hop page. I doubt I'll recall them all the next time I post Comments to your Blog, but if I use Google Translate a few more times, I should be able to memorize the correct links to click on. Perhaps you might consider offering translations to other languages (not just English) for the key links necessary for your (I'm certain what will be a growing number of) international customers who do not read German. This minor issue notwithstanding, I am very much enjoying your Blog and website, and look forward to the opportunity to using your products when they become easily obtainable in the United States. Many thanks and best wishes on your continued success! :-)

  4. Hello -
Do your kits come monthly? How much do they sell for?
    Thank you!

    1. Hi there!
No, the kits won't be monthly. Sending sunshine is our first kit and we're planing to have about 2 kits each year - so there's no subscription.
This kit will sell for 35€ (which is nearly $40 with today's currency). If you have more questions, don't hesitate to send an email to info@createasmilestamps.com - I'm happy to help!

  5. Christine, Just received my Sending Sunshine kit and I am tickled pink by all the goodies (including the extra little gifts--thank you :>).
I think the colours in the kit PERFECTLY match the new Ranger Distress Ink colours: cracked pistachio, abandoned coral, fossilized amber and mermaid lagoon. I have the new markers and they will work just wonderfully!
    Can't wait to start playing...
    Merci,
    caroline

    1. Thanks Caroline, made my day :)
We had a big laugh when tim Holtz revealed his colours, our stickers have been ordered in early december - so maybe Tim and I had the same taste? No idea, but we totally freaked out when even the fourth colour matched :)
Hop you have lots of fun playing and hope to get to see some of your projects! :)
