Cling Stamps Part 2

Hi everyone! I'm glad you stopped by :) Today is the Part 2 for my mini series on Cling Stamps and I'm using the Clustered Leaves stamps. And I was in a crafty mood and decided to share two cards using the stamp stamp and die.

Card #1

I used Distress Inks for this technique. You'll see why as you read on ;)
Stamping the leaves a bit off page to cluster them on the bottom part of the card base.
The stamped leaves don't look perfect but it's okay. It's more of an abstract-ish looking card.

I try to overlap the leaves with each other with the intention that the colours would mix.

Here's the reason why I used Distress Inks. I wanted to spray the leaves with water to get the colour mixing and flowing. If you have a spray that produces finer mist, that is even better.

Try not to spray too much water or you'll lose the shape of the leaves. Tilt it over to get an organic flow of ink.

I've die cut three times to stack them up. A bold black word always works the best when it comes to a busy background.

Add some sequins to match the inks and glossy accents over the sentiment and you're done! :D

Card #2

This card is the complete opposite. It's more minimalist than the first card.

So, basically, I heat embossed the leaves on to vellum and carefully cut them out.

I've positioned them together to look like a bouquet  and purposely let the leaves hang off the card base. I did the Thanks the same way as I did in the first card and topped it off with some gold sequins.

Hope these cards have given you some ideas for your next projects and don't forget to share them :)
