Happy 15th Birthday

Hi there it's Anja again on this monday.
For today I have a funny card for you let's have a birthday party!!!!!!!!!!

My youngest daughter turns 15 at the end of the week and she loves cards with critters. So I decided to make a card with the lovely monsters. At the end it turned out rather for a younger child but I had fun creating it. I tried to make it some more feminine and placed a bow and some flowers onto the monsters.

I started with a topfolded white cardbase abd stamped the happy words at random with some versamark ink and white heat embossed them.
I took a cloudshape and sponged the background with distress ink.
I stamped the Banner which I altered to make it a whole banner and from there on I created the scenery with some masking.
The balloons weren't big enough for the number stamps so I draw some ballons around the numbers. I also drew some flagpoles to go with the banner.
I copic colored the monsters and fuzzy cut the scenery and adhered it to the cardbase with some foamtape.

Stamps;

When you would like to create a background the way I did you can easily place your stamps with the right side onto your paper thus determining the right position. Then take a big stampblock and pick up your stamps to stamp your background.
When you don't have the exact stamps for the card you have in mind you can easily alter your stamps by using a black marker and coloring your stamps nobody will ever notice it weren't stamps.

We are nearing our new release for the month july and I can tell you you won't be disappointed because it will be a huge and I see HUGE one this time. Can't wait to show you.

Have a great week;

Hugs Anja
