Video - Bad Day?

Hi! Francine here! Today, I want to share a card and a video featuring the Create A Smile Bad Day stamp set. Here is the card I made:

For this card, I wanted to create a background using a sentiment stamp instead of a stencil, what I would usually use for this kind of layout. I also wanted to play with two shades, black and yellow. It really pops against the white card base.

You can see how I did my card in the video below!

Use sharp scissors to fussy cut a stamped image then use a black marker to run around the edges to give more definition.

To create a background with a sentiment, you can also use the second generation stamping technique.

Stamps: Bad Day (Create A Smile)
Inks: Hero Hues Black Dye Ink (Hero Arts), Crushed Curry (Stampin’Up!), Tuxedo Black Ink (Memento), Versamark
Paper: Neenah solar white, black and white cardstock, vellum, stripes design paper
Dies: Chat Bubbles (Penny Black)
Punch: 2̎̎" circle punch (EK Success)
Various: enamel dots (MME), white embossing powder (Stampendous),
anti-static powder tool (EK Success), yellow thread, 3D foam pads, heat gun

Now you can share your Create A Smile creations with us! Yay! Upload them right in the sidebar.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative day!
